The basic characteristics of a pressure spray dryer are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Structural Design: Pressure spray dryers typically employ a four-spray-gun structure. This design allows the droplets sprayed from each gun to collide and coalesce into large, hollow particles, thereby improving the product's solubility.
2. High-Pressure Spray: Spray dryers use 18-20 MPa high-pressure spray, which ensures the material is fully atomized and in full contact with hot air, increasing the heating area, improving thermal efficiency, and enabling instantaneous drying.
3. Air Distribution Device: The air distribution device of a pressure spray dryer consists of multiple adjustable air ducts. These ducts ensure that the airflow entering the tower is vertically downward, avoiding flow deviation and eddies, thus reducing dust adhesion to the walls.
4. Drying and Granulation: Inside the pressure spray dryer, the powder enters the vibrating fluidized bed from the bottom of the conical section for secondary drying, granulation, and cooling. This helps improve product quality and increase solubility. 5. Cooling and Packaging: The cooled powder enters a vibrating screen for sieving, and then it can be packaged. This design results in a single powder outlet, reducing powder loss and simplifying operation.
6. Waste Heat Recovery: The pressure spray dryer uses condensate to preheat cold air, effectively recovering waste heat. This not only extends the service life of the heat exchanger but also improves energy efficiency.
7. Equipment Structure: The pressure spray dryer's tower body is a cylindrical structure with conical sections, without other complex structures, making the equipment easier to clean.
