Advantages of thermowell thermocouples

Armored Thermocouple 1 Armored thermocouples have advantages such as bendability, high voltage resistance, fast thermal response time, and durability. Like assembled thermocouples, armored thermocouples are commonly used as temperature sensors, combining with display meters, recorders, and electronic regulators. Meanwhile, armored thermocouples can also serve as temperature sensing elements for assembled thermocouples. Sheath thermocouples can directly measure the temperature of liquid, vapor, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of 0 ℃ to 1100 ℃ in various production processes. Double set thermocouples have various advantages such as bendability, high voltage resistance, fast thermal response time, and durability. Like industrial combination thermocouples, they can usually be used in combination with display instruments, recording instruments, and electronic regulators, and can also be used as temperature sensing elements for combination thermocouples. It can directly measure the temperature of liquid, vapor, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of 0-800 ℃ in well-known production processes. The working principle of a principle sheath thermocouple is to weld the two ends of two conductors with different compositions to form a circuit. The direct temperature measuring end is also called the working end, the connecting terminal end is also called the cold end, and the reference end. When there is a temperature difference between the working end and the reference end, the circuit generates a thermal current, which is connected to the display. The measuring instrument displays the corresponding temperature value of the thermoelectric potential generated by the thermocouple. The thermoelectric potential of a sheath thermocouple increases with the temperature at the measuring end, and the magnitude of the thermoelectric potential is only related to the conductor material of the thermocouple and the temperature difference at both ends, and is independent of the length and diameter of the thermoelectric electrode. The structural principle of a sheathed thermocouple is a conductor, high insulation magnesium oxide, and a sheathed 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel protective tube, which is drawn multiple times as a whole. Armored thermocouple products mainly consist of terminal boxes, connecting terminals, and armored thermocouples, which form the basic structure and various installation and fixing devices.01
