Analysis and treatment of common faults in daily operation of glass kilns

1、 Glass kiln power failure:
When encountering a power outage, first adjust the main valve of the flue to maintain a stable kiln pressure and prevent excessive negative pressure from pumping in cold air, resulting in a significant decrease in temperature.
2. Adjust the push head of the feeder upwards to avoid burning out.
3. During this period, pay attention to checking the status of various parts of the kiln. If the power outage lasts too long and the temperature drops below 1200 ℃, the top wires of the kiln roof, tongue arch, and regenerator roof should be immediately checked for looseness.
After the generator is turned on, first turn on the control system and primary and secondary fans to ensure that the melting temperature is reached. Adjust the frequency of the induced draft fan and the flue valve to maintain a stable state of kiln pressure.
Turn on the feeding machine and feeding machine to ensure the glass liquid level, and turn on the cooling fans of various parts of the kiln body to ensure the normal and safe operation of the kiln body.
After normal power supply, operate according to daily procedures.
If the glass level drops too much, change the feeder to manual feeding mode. When restoring the liquid level, do not add materials too quickly in a short period of time, and the distribution of return positions should be uniform, gradually restoring the liquid level.
7. If there is a long-term power outage, the feeding machine cannot be used for feeding, and the operator needs to manually feed.
2、 Glass kiln reversing fault:
Before reversing the operation, the fuel body should be replaced first, and then the air should be changed. Do not reverse the order.
2. If a malfunction occurs during the commutation process, manually operate the commutation, and then investigate the cause after the commutation. If the manual reversing is not successful, immediately report to the duty leader and organize relevant staff to find and repair the fault.
3. If the gas commutation is successful, the air commutation fails. Reset the gas commutator to its original position. Wait for troubleshooting and repair before reversing.
4. Long term non commutation will result in uneven temperature in the heat storage chambers on both sides. After repairing the commutation fault, it is necessary to adjust the commutation time to ensure uniform temperature on both sides before returning to normal commutation time.
3、 Glass kiln water supply failure:
When encountering a water stop, adjust the feeder push head in a timely manner to avoid burning out due to water shortage. If necessary, manual pushing is required.
If the water supply is stopped for a long time and the pusher cannot be used to push the material, manual pushing is required to avoid a drop in liquid level due to improper feeding.
If the liquid level drops too much, it is necessary to notify the bottle making workshop to adjust the discharge amount in a timely manner, or even stop small amounts of material to avoid causing greater impact.
4、 Glass kiln leakage or roof collapse accidents:
When a kiln is found to have material leakage or roof collapse, it should be immediately reported to the on duty leader, relevant personnel should be notified to take remedial measures, and reported to the superior.
2. In case of material leakage, the power supply should be immediately cut off and the gas tanks around the kiln should be closed to avoid causing a fire or even a chain accident of gas tank explosion. The cooling fan of the kiln should be kept in operation as much as possible.
3. Immediately organize personnel to use fire hydrants, flush and plug the leaks with high-pressure water, and protect the kiln columns.
4. Use sand and soil to block the leakage material and prevent it from flowing around equipment such as bottle making machines and gas tanks, so that the leakage material flows into the bottom of the pool and designated locations.
5. If there is material leakage in the operating area, a punch or high-pressure water pipe should be used to block it. If it cannot be approached, priority should be given to ensuring life safety.
6. Immediately stop feeding.
7. Immediately reduce the primary and secondary air, lower the temperature, and pay attention to stabilizing the kiln pressure.
When the kiln roof collapses or leaks materials, the bottle making machine immediately raises the speed and increases the discharge amount.
9. Seal the leaking material to prevent continuous leakage.
5、 Gas leakage accident of glass kiln:
If a gas leakage poisoning accident occurs, immediately seek rescue.
2. Quickly transfer the poisoned person to the ventilation outlet for manual rescue, and promptly send them to a nearby hospital.
After a gas poisoning accident occurs, the poisoned person should be immediately rescued and the gas leakage area should be sealed.
