Application of electric heating cable in CEMS flue gas collection system

The CEMS flue gas collection system uses electric heating cables. The CEMS flue gas collection system is a high-temperature sampling tube developed and manufactured for power plant flue gas sampling systems. Also known as a flue gas corrosion-resistant heated sampling composite tube, the system utilizes heating cables with constant power heating cables and self-regulating heating cables. Because the sampling tubes are used in power plant flue gas equipment, the required sample gas temperature varies under normal circumstances. Two heating materials are used: constant power heating cables and self-regulating heating cables.

CEMS flue gas sampling tubes utilize high-temperature, corrosion-resistant core wires capable of reaching temperatures of 230°C. Developed and manufactured using constant power heating cables, these are the highest-temperature sampling composite tubes currently used in flue gas collection systems in the industry, offering advantages such as high-temperature resistance, precise sampling, and a long service life.

When using a sampling composite tube for flue gas collection, users must pay attention to routine maintenance. Proper maintenance can prevent many unnecessary problems, such as condensation and blockage in the sampling tube. These can be avoided through routine maintenance. So, what precautions should be taken during daily operation?

1. Carefully check whether the leakage current protector (RCP) has tripped, whether the automatic current limiter is functioning properly, and whether the corrosion-resistant heated sampling tube is heating normally. If the RCP has tripped, shut down the system to prevent water from accumulating in the pipes and damaging the equipment.

2. Check whether the probe heater is functioning properly. If the probe heater switch has tripped, first check and ensure it is functioning properly. If the probe heater is functioning properly and the filter element is damp, notify the operator to adjust the operating mode.

3. Check whether the sampling tube is flowing freely. Use compressed air to test the tube. If any blockage is found, clear the tube immediately. Do not blindly close the switch; investigate the cause of the trip before closing it. Closing the switch blindly may cause overcurrent in the pipe, leading to problems.
