Application of heating cables in soil heating of sports venues

The saying "technology is the primary productive force" is widely acknowledged as a truth, and it's absolutely true. Technology is transforming our lives everywhere, and even in winter, we can see lush greenery.

Plant growth requires suitable temperatures, sunlight, water, and air. In most parts of my country, there are distinct four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and plants bloom and bear fruit in each of these seasons. However, some special venues, such as stadiums, require turf cover for much of the year. How can we ensure these grasses don't wither in the winter? Many stadiums utilize soil heating technology. This technology uses heating cables to heat the stadium, allowing the turf to grow normally even at lower temperatures. This allows stadiums to be operational two to three months earlier than other locations. Furthermore, by heating the soil in the fall, the stadium's operating season can be extended. This system energizes heating cables laid in the soil, maintaining an operating temperature of approximately 40-60°C. A ground-based thermostat controls temperature fluctuations, lowering the heating cable temperature during high daytime temperatures to conserve energy.

The advantages of using a heating cable heating system are:

1. Environmentally friendly. Electricity is a clean energy source, and the operation process is pollution-free, protecting the environment.

2. Easy control. The thermostat senses temperature changes, allowing for automated management with simple settings.

3. The system has a long service life and requires virtually no maintenance. Compared to other heating methods, it is more scientific and safer.
