Causes and troubleshooting of electric heater current reduction during operation
Leave a message
The main reason for the decrease in the electric heater current during use is that the internal electric heating tube of the electric heater may be burned. Generally speaking, for horizontally installed electric heaters, there is a lot of dust accumulation in the gas medium during operation, or the air pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the electric heater is too low, causing dust to accumulate inside the electric heating tube and cover the electric heating tube, causing the electric heating tube to be unable to dissipate heat, causing the electric heating tube to burn out, and the bottom electric heating tube is easy to burn out.
So how should the manufacturer troubleshoot the problem? The manufacturer needs to regularly record the operating current of each electric heater. If the operating current of individual electric heaters gradually decreases, it can be determined that the internal electric heating tube is burned out. The burning of some electric heaters will not affect the operation of the system. The electric heating tube can be replaced during the shutdown and maintenance of the unit. If most of the electric heating tubes are burned out and the outlet temperature of the heater does not meet the system requirements, the maximum power of the electric heating of the faulty group can be appropriately increased to ensure the normal operation of the system.
