The electric heater is used to heat the alloy electric heating wire, and a high temperature is generated after the power is turned on. In the actual production process, there are many common heating methods for electric heaters, including resistance heating, induction heating, arc heating, electron beam heating, infrared heating, dielectric heating, etc. Everyone has a common feature. When the electric heater is heated by resistance, it uses the Joule effect of the current to convert electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the object. Due to the high thermal efficiency generated by the heated object itself, direct resistance heating has a high thermal efficiency.
However, direct resistance heating is generally not limited to the type of heated object and is easy to operate. The induction heating of the electric heater requires that the conductor is in an AC electromagnetic field, and then a thermal effect consisting of an induced current is generated to heat the conductor itself. The condition for using this heating method is that the heated object must be a conductor to uniformly heat the entire object and heat the outer surface. Arc heating is also a commonly used heating method for electric heaters. In order to maintain the stability of the arc during arc heating, when the arc current exceeds zero, the instantaneous value of the circuit voltage is greater than the arc voltage value.
At the same time, in order to limit the short-circuit current, a certain resistance must be connected in series in the power supply circuit. Under the action of the electric field, the appearance of the object is impacted by high-speed moving electrons, so that the object is heated into an electron beam. The electric heater also chooses this heating method, which can not only change the heating power conveniently and quickly; it can also replace the heating part or adjust the area of the electron beam shooting part; increase the energy density, so that the material evaporates instantly. In addition, the electric heater has two heating methods: infrared heating and dielectric heating. The former has the advantages of small energy loss, simple temperature control, and high heating quality. The latter has a fast heating speed, high thermal efficiency, and uniform heating.
