Cleaning and maintenance method of rubber mold

At present, rubber product manufacturers mainly use chemical cleaning method. When the dirt composition is complex, multiple cleaning agents must be used repeatedly. Long-term use will cause mold corrosion, thus affecting the appearance and quality of products. The other widely used method is mechanical cleaning, but it will cause damage to the mold in the process of cleaning by mechanical means such as scraping, wiping, brushing and sandblasting; In addition, it requires repeated loading and unloading, which is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Next, we will introduce the most effective method in rubber mold cleaning - ultrasonic cleaning.
I. Working principle of ultrasonic mold cleaning
Ultrasonic cleaning belongs to physical cleaning, which is green cleaning. If appropriate cleaning agent is added to the cleaning solution, it belongs to combined cleaning, which has more obvious cleaning effect.
Ultrasonic wave mainly has mechanical effect, thermal effect and hole effect. When the ultrasonic wave propagates forward in the form of alternating positive pressure and negative pressure in the liquid, it will form countless tiny bubbles in the liquid (cleaning solution). These bubbles form and grow in the negative pressure zone where the ultrasonic wave propagates longitudinally, and close rapidly in the positive pressure zone. In the process of this so-called "cavitation" effect, the closure of the bubble can produce an instantaneous high-pressure jet action of far more than 1000 air pressures and a high temperature of nearly 5000 ℃. The continuously generated high-pressure energy continuously impacts the surface of the object like a series of small "explosions", so that the dirt on the surface of the object and in the gap can be quickly peeled off and removed. So as to achieve the ideal state of cleaning the surface of the object.
The number of bubbles generated by cavitation in the liquid is numerous and ubiquitous, so the cleaning of the workpiece can be very thorough. Even the interior of the workpiece with complex shape can be thoroughly cleaned as long as it can contact the solution.
II. Advantages of ultrasonic cleaning
Ultrasonic cleaning is fast, high quality and easy to realize automation. It is especially suitable for workpieces with complex surface shapes. For example, for the holes, slits, grooves, micropores, dark holes and other places on the precision workpiece, the conventional cleaning method is difficult to work, but ultrasonic cleaning can achieve good results;
2 Ultrasonic cleaning has a good cleaning effect on materials with hard texture and strong acoustic reflection (such as metal, glass, ceramics and plastics);
3. High cleanliness and consistent cleanliness of all workpieces;
4. The cleaning speed is fast, the production efficiency is improved, and it is safe and reliable without human contact with the cleaning fluid;
5. No damage to the surface of the workpiece, saving solvent, heat, work site and labor.
Compared with other cleaning methods, ultrasonic cleaning method not only reduces labor intensity, saves cleaning time, but also avoids mold damage, which is particularly important for high-precision molds that do not allow any damage. Ultrasonic cleaning of molds is an effective means in various chemical, physical and mechanical cleaning
