Cause: Because the electric water heater is a closed water storage type electric water heater, the water pressure in the tank of the water heater is greater than 6 MPa during heating or insulation, resulting in overflow and dripping of the one-way safety valve.
Treatment method: Close the water inlet valve, adjust the knob of the water mixing valve to a high temperature to avoid water leakage from the one-way safety valve and make the shower head drip. If a mixing valve is not installed, the hot water outlet ball valve can be opened slightly to relieve pressure and water flow, and can also avoid leakage from the one-way safety valve.
Common fault 2: The water temperature is very low and enters the insulation state.
Cause: The operating temperature of the thermostat is too low
Treatment: Replace the thermostat (for adjustable thermostats, the temperature must increase).
Common fault 3: The heating indicator light is on, but it cannot be heated.
Cause: Poor contact or disconnection at the insertion end of the heating pipe, resulting in combustion of the heating pipe.
Treatment: Check and eliminate or replace the heating pipe.
Common fault 4: The heating indicator does not light up and cannot be heated (not in any temperature state)
Cause: Poor contact or disconnection at the socket end of the thermostat, and the thermostat is burnt out
Treatment: Check and eliminate or replace the thermostat.
Common Fault 5: Water Heater Indicator Always On
Cause: The temperature sensing surface of the thermostat has few contact points with the flange surface of the electric heating pipe, and the thermostat is damaged.
Treatment: Reinstall the temperature controller to make the temperature sensing surface contact. Or replace the thermostat.
Common fault 6: The water heater has a short service time
Cause: When the water heater is used for the first time (or when it is not used for a period of time and reused), due to the short heating time of the water heater and the uneven water temperature between the upper and lower layers, the amount of hot water generated is very small.
Treatment method: Use the water heater continuously for more than 12 hours to make the water temperature in the water heater uniform.
