Composition and structure of WRPB standard thermocouple

WRPB standard thermocouple is a temperature sensor, which consists of two different metal wires, one end of which is combined together and the other end is connected to a thermocouple thermometer or other equipment that supports thermocouples. After correct configuration, WRPB standard thermocouples can measure temperatures in various temperature ranges.
1. The thermocouple is also called the thermocouple wire, which is the basic component of the thermocouple. The thermocouple wire made of ordinary metal generally has a diameter of 0.5-3.2mm, and the thermocouple wire made of precious metal generally has a diameter of 0.3-0.6m. The length of the thermocouple wire is determined by the usage and installation conditions, especially the depth of the working end inserted into the measured medium. The commonly used length is 350mm.
2. The insulating tube is also called an insulator, which is a part used for insulation protection between thermocouples and between thermocouples and protective sleeves. The shape is generally round or oval, with two, four or six holes in the middle, and the thermocouple wire passes through the hole. The material is clay, high aluminum, corundum, etc. The material selection depends on the thermocouple used.
3. The protective sleeve is a device used to protect the thermocouple temperature sensing element from chemical corrosion and mechanical damage by the measured medium. The protective sleeve should have high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, good thermal conductivity and good air tightness. Its materials are divided into three categories: metal, non-metal and metal ceramic.
4. The junction box is a device used to fix the terminal block and connect the compensation wire. According to the object of the measured temperature and the on-site environmental conditions, there are four structural forms designed: ordinary type, splash-proof type, waterproof type and socket type.
