Differences between vertical packaging machines and pillow type packaging machines

The development of automation technology has promoted the development of packaging technology. Now automatic packaging machines have been widely used, especially in food, chemical, medical, hardware and other industries. At present, common automatic packaging machines can be divided into vertical and pillow type. What are the differences between the two automatic packaging machines?
Vertical packaging machine
The vertical packaging machine occupies a small area and has a high degree of automation. The coiled materials of small vertical packaging machines are usually placed at the upper end of the front, while the coiled materials of other vertical packaging machines are placed at the upper end of the back. Then the coiled material is made into a packaging bag through the bag maker, and then the material filling, sealing, transportation and other processes are carried out.
Vertical packaging machine can be divided into two types: self-made bag and bag feeding type. Bag feeding means that the existing prefabricated packaging bags are placed in the bag storage area, and the processes of opening, blowing, measuring and blanking, sealing, printing and so on are completed in turn through horizontal bag walking. The difference between the self-made bag type and the bag type is that the self-made bag type needs to automatically complete the process of coiled material forming or film forming, which is also basically completed in a horizontal form.
Pillow type packaging machine
Pillow packaging machine covers a large area and has a slightly lower degree of automation. Its characteristic is to put the packaging material into a horizontal conveying mechanism and deliver it to the entrance of the coiled material or film. (At this time, the coiled material or film has become cylindrical through the bag maker, and the packaged items will enter the cylindrical packaging material.) Then, it operates synchronously, and successively undergoes heat sealing, air extraction (vacuum packaging), or air supply (inflatable packaging), cutting, and other processes.
Pillow packaging machine is more suitable for single or multiple integrated materials such as bread, biscuits, instant noodles, etc. Vertical packaging machines are mostly used for powder, liquid and granular materials.
