Eight points to note when using integrated thermistor

Integrated thermistor has the advantages of simple structure, wire saving, large output signal, strong anti-interference ability, good linearity, simple display instrument, solid module seismic and moisture-proof, reverse connection protection and current limiting protection, and reliable operation. So what should be noted when using an integrated thermistor?
(1) Select the appropriate bimetallic thermometer model, specifications, and protective tube material for the thermal resistance based on the range of the child's temperature and the target object.
(2) The high operating temperature and working pressure of the thermistor should not exceed the set value of the thermistor.
(3) If the thermal resistor needs to be used in corrosive media, a protective tube made of stainless steel should be used
(4) The length of the sensitive element of most thermal resistors is about 120cnm. When selecting the insertion depth of the thermal resistor, it should be considered that the thermal resistor can only withstand the average temperature of the side medium within the vicinity of the sensitive element.
(5) When wiring a thermal resistor, first open the junction box and then connect the wires. There are generally two methods of wiring: two-wire and three wire. The advantage of the three wire connection is the bimetallic thermometer, which can avoid the indication error of the display instrument caused by the electrical trapped value of the connecting wire.
(6) The connecting wire between the thermistor and the display instrument should be insulated copper wire, and the compensating wire of the thermocouple should not be used. The resistance value of the Jiong wire should be selected according to the technical specifications of the display instrument, generally 2% Z, and the resistance value of the wire can be adjusted using a DC balance bridge.
(7) A thermal limit cannot be used in parallel with two boundary display instruments. Only a dual branch thermal resistor can be used with two display instruments.
(8) Thermistors and their accessories must be stored in a place that is not subject to vibration and collision when not in use. A suitable storage location is a thermocouple environment with a temperature range of 10-350C; Relative humidity not exceeding 80%; The surrounding air should not contain substances that may cause corrosion of thermistor components.
The above eight points are the precautions that need to be taken when using thermal resistors. We hope these can be helpful to those in need.01
