Electric heating castings are classified as electric heating components
Electric heating castings are another classification of electric heating components, such as cast aluminum, cast copper, cast iron heaters, PTC heating elements, and steam heat dissipation tubes.
1. Electric heating wire is the earliest type of electric heating element that uses electric heating as the basic working principle to achieve energy conversion. Although electric heating wires are traditional heating elements, they have not been replaced yet. Nowadays, electric heating wires are still widely used in various fields, especially in industrial production and laboratories. In recent years, electric heating wires have mostly used iron chromium aluminum alloy and nickel chromium alloy, and the maximum temperature of iron chromium aluminum alloy has reached 1400 ℃. On the basis of electric heating wire, electric heating elements such as electric heating rods, electric heating plates, and electric heating plates have been developed in recent years. However, their essence is still electric heating wire, and their principle cannot be separated from electric heating. The advantages of electric heating wire are high heating temperature and heat resistance temperature, mature technology, easy manufacturing, and convenient matching application in various electric heating equipment. The disadvantage of electric heating wire is that its energy conversion rate is low, and the heating process is accompanied by the luminescence process, so the energy conversion rate can only reach 60% to 70%. 2. PTC electric heating element is a thermistor, which is a type of electric heating element made by composite sintering of conductive materials. PTC electric heating element is a type of electric heating element that emerged after the relay heating wire. Due to the limitation of Curie temperature, it can only be used in heating below 350 ℃ and is used in various low-power low-temperature electric heating equipment. The advantage of PTC electric heating elements is that there is no open flame during heating, and the heating efficiency can reach 70%. The disadvantage of PTC electric heating elements is poor seismic performance and cannot be cut and used arbitrarily. Especially, PTC electric heating elements are limited by Curie temperature and cannot be used for heating above 350 ℃. Therefore, the application of PTC electric heating elements in practical production and life can only be limited to the field of low-temperature heating. 3. Conductive coating, also known as black film, emerged in the late 1950s and can be used as an electric heating element after being sprayed on the surface of insulating materials. Conductive coatings have many uses, but their application as electric heating elements is relatively limited. Their advantages include surface heating, large heat dissipation area, and good seismic performance. However, their disadvantage is that the heating layer is prone to detachment and can only be used for heating below 200 ℃. 4. Electric heating film is an emerging type of electric heating element in recent years, which is manufactured by absorbing the characteristics of PTC and conductive coatings. Electric heating film is currently mainly used in indoor heating and environmental temperature maintenance, such as building heating and insulation in nursery rooms. The advantages of electric heating film are no open flame heating, surface heating, low thermal resistance, fast thermal conductivity, long service life, and easy cutting and separation. Especially, the electric energy conversion efficiency of electric heating film is as high as 90%, and the heat loss is small.
