Electric heating radiation tubes for heat treatment furnaces

Electric heating radiation tubes for heat treatment furnaces

1、 Introduction to Electric Heating Radiant Tube

Electric heating radiation tube is a device that encloses the electric heating element in a protective sleeve and generates electricity. The sleeve indirectly radiates heat to the furnace lining and the processed workpiece, and is widely used in various heating furnaces in the heat treatment industry. At present, the electric heating radiation tube series includes squirrel cage type, vertical strip type, and spiral type. The heating element series uses nickel chromium wire or strip, iron chromium aluminum wire or strip, and the protective tube is made of high-temperature alloy, heat-resistant steel plate, rolled, welded or centrifugally cast. It has good high-temperature oxidation resistance and carburization resistance, and long service life.

2、 Main Technology and Performance

1. Electric heating wire cold resistance error range ≤ 3%

2. The insulation resistance between the outer protective tube and the heating wire is greater than 2m ω

3. Outer diameter of heating tube: various specifications from ¥ 60mm to ¥ 300mm

4. Heating power: various specifications from 2kw to 30kw

5. Outer tube length of heating tube: various specifications from 800mm to 2800mm

6. Outer wall thickness of radiation tube: from 0.5mm to 16m

3、 Types of electric heating radiation tubes

1. Wire mounted spiral wound electric heating radiation tube

This type of electric heating radiation tube consists of a heat-resistant alloy steel casing and a heater, which is generally composed of φ The 3-5 mm electric heating wire is wound on a heat-resistant insulating ceramic tube core with spiral grooves, with a working voltage of 220V and a power of generally 5-7kw.

2. Ribbon spiral wound electric heating radiation tube

The structure of this type of heater is basically the same as the first type, except that the heating element is wound with a resistance strip. The resistance strip is generally 1-3 mm thick and 10-20 mm wide, and the tube core is mostly composed of multiple grouped tube cores. Under the same surface load, the thermal radiation surface is large, and the material can be saved. Generally, high-power point heating radiation tubes use this form.

3. Axial corrugated cage cabinet type electric heating radiation tube (commonly known as squirrel cage type)

Its structure is to bend the resistance wire (strip) of the heating element into a "u" shape and string it into multiple insulated and high-temperature resistant ceramic support plates, with a heat-resistant rod fixed in the middle, and its power can reach 5-16.5kw. This type of radiation tube has a longer lifespan.
