Electric heating system helps maintain the temperature of slurry process pipelines and tanks
Leave a message
Pipelines and tanks in industrial production require auxiliary heating devices to maintain the required temperature due to heat dissipation or ambient temperature. Slurry processing is a method for producing materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and butyl rubber. Electric heating systems can be used to maintain the required temperature in the entire pipeline from the slurry inlet to the processing tank, due to the high heat dissipation or the need for additional heat.
Electric heating systems install heating cables on the outer walls of pipes and tanks, either in a coiled or straight-laid manner. Then, they are powered on to provide heat. Insulation is also applied to the outside of the heating cables, protecting them while preventing heat loss and maintaining temperature.
Since the temperature requirements of slurry process pipelines and tanks vary, the installation and heating cable selection also vary. Self-limiting temperature heating cables and constant-wattage electric heating cables can be selected based on your needs. This facilitates installation (self-limiting temperature heating cables can be cut to size) while also maximizing the effectiveness of different heating cable types.
In order to better select the model of heating tape for slurry process pipelines and material tanks, users need to provide the actual on-site usage environment and the relevant parameters of the pipelines and material tanks themselves to the technical staff of the electric heating manufacturer. Only then can they select the appropriate heating tape model for the user and provide the corresponding design plan.
