Electric heating tube mould application
(1) Generally, the mold heating tube usually has a long cold end at both ends, which cannot play a heating role. Therefore, it is recommended to use the imported single-head electric heating tube produced by our company, which is characterized by only one cold end, and the smaller cold end is generally about 1CM.
(2) The power design of the general mold electric heating tube should not exceed the limit of 10 watts/cm. Such as 20 cm long heating tube, the power should not exceed 200W as much as possible. If the design power exceeds this limit, the surface load of the stainless steel heating tube will be higher, and the steel tube will be susceptible to oxidation and corrosion, causing short circuits. The company's imported mold-specific single-head heating element can be designed with a power of 12 watts/cm, and the power can be slightly higher than that of ordinary heating tubes.
(3) The mold electric heating tube must fit closely to the mold hole, so that the heat conduction effect is good, and the service life of the heating tube is also very good. The size of the single-head heating tube produced by Yancheng Kangtai can be accurate to ±0.08mm.
(4) The mold heating tube is generally a dry-fired tube, so the temperature must be controlled during work, and it is best not to exceed 150 degrees.
(5) For mold design with a temperature higher than 250°C, it is difficult to use a heating tube. Because under this condition, the heating tube, the connecting terminal, the copper wire for connection and other media are very easy to oxidize, resulting in a circuit break. Therefore, special treatment is required for the electrical transmission medium to avoid exposing the conductive wire to the air as much as possible to extend the service life of the wire.
Safety measures such as insurance and air switch are indispensable in the design. The operation site must be kept clean and tidy, with good insulation, and be diligent in checking electrical failures during operation to prevent unnecessary danger.
