An unsuitable pot will cause an increase in the frequency and power of the induction cooker, and the internal IGBT temperature of the induction cooker will be too high. If the temperature is near the high temperature protection critical point of the IGBT for a long time, the induction cooker will experience intermittent heating, and over time, it will burn out the IBGT.
A multimeter that can be used for power testing.
When using a multimeter with power testing to determine a fault, first use the multimeter to test the mains supply voltage of the electromagnetic furnace operating environment. If the voltage is within 10% of the 220V positive and negative deviation, it indicates that the voltage is normal. If not, there is a problem with the voltage. You can check the cause of voltage imbalance and start at the substation.
Clamp one of the transmission lines with a clamp shaped meter, set the clamp shaped multimeter to AC A~range, read the current value displayed at this moment, multiply this current by the just tested mains voltage, and the power is obtained. If the power obtained is within the normal power range, it indicates that there is no problem with the electromagnetic furnace. If the power obtained is severely low or high, and the mains voltage is normal, it can definitely be determined that the pot is not matching.
External faults caused by pot mismatch are generally: no pot, low power, high power. If the power is too small or too large, the temperature inside the induction cooker will rise, and the igbt will be in a high load state for a long time, which is prone to malfunction.
The internal failure caused by mismatched pots and tools is the overload use of IGBT.
