Features of U-shaped electric heating tube

U-shaped electric heating tubes feature a heating wire placed within a seamless metal tube (carbon steel, titanium, stainless steel, or copper). The interstices are densely packed with crystalline magnesium oxide, which offers excellent thermal conductivity and insulation. The ends of the heating wire are connected to a power source via two lead-out rods. The interstices are then filled with magnesium oxide powder, which offers excellent thermal conductivity and insulation, and then the tube is shrunk. Because the tube curves like the letter U, it's called a U-shaped tube. Its specifications can be customized according to user needs, and it features a simple structure.

I. Features of U-shaped electric heating tubes:

1. Applications: Dry heating, water heating, and molds;

2. Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and titanium tubes;

3. Voltage: 12-660V; Power: Designed based on the heating medium and tube length;

4. Tube diameter: 8mm-30mm; Single tube length: Up to 6000mm.

II. Precautions for Using U-Shaped Electric Heating Tubes:

1. When not in use, store in a dry place to ensure proper insulation performance.

2. Use strictly within the rated voltage. The operating voltage must not exceed 10% of the rated voltage.

3. During installation, components should be evenly arranged, with a spacing of at least 20mm between tubes.

4. Protect the sealing material at the tube ends. Be careful not to apply excessive force when wiring. The effective heating area must be completely immersed in the liquid or mold.

5. Clean any scale or carbon deposits on the surface of the heating tube promptly to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening its service life.

6. When melting solid metals such as nitrate, paraffin, and asphalt, melt the heating material first. At this time, reduce the external voltage of the heating tube and restore it to the rated voltage after melting is complete. Furthermore, when heating substances prone to combustion and explosion, such as nitrate, consider safety measures.

III. Applications:

U-shaped electric heating tubes are used for water heating. In cases of severe scale buildup, our factory sprays an anti-scale coating on the tube surface, effectively slowing scale formation. The scale will then automatically flake off over time. This product is commonly used for heating water tanks, oil drums, pools, hydropower plants, barbecues, internal heating and insulation in incubators, and internal heating for metal castings and machinery.
