How do I know the wattage of the heating element?

Most people are familiar with the structure of a heating element. It consists of a stainless steel sheath containing a spiral heating wire (resistance wire). The space between the heating wire and the stainless steel sheath is tightly filled with an insulating and thermally conductive filler (magnesium oxide powder). Finally, the tube opening is sealed with a sealing material, and a conductive lead-out rod for wiring extends from the tube end.
From the heating element structure, we can see that the wattage of a heating element is determined by the heating wire. The diameter and length of the heating element determine the power, and the voltage and power determine the resistance value. So, how do you determine the wattage of a heating element? Here's how:
Once the heating element is manufactured, its resistance value is fixed. Therefore, if you don't know the wattage of the heating element you're using, you can measure the resistance value with a multimeter and then calculate the power in watts based on the rated voltage of the heating element. The formula is: Power = Voltage * Voltage / Resistance.
For example, if we have an electric heating element with a rated voltage of 110V and a resistance of 9.5Ω measured by a multimeter, then we can calculate using the formula: 110*110/9.5=1273W.
