How to connect 220V voltage to 380V electric heating tube?
If there is only a single 220V electric heating tube, it cannot be directly connected to a 380V power supply. If you do this, there is only one result: the heating tube burns out quickly, but it is different for multiple tubes.
For example, there are 3 heating tubes, each with a rated voltage of 220V. How to connect it to a 380V power supply.

We know that there are 4 commonly used wiring methods for heating tubes:
1. Series connection
When connected in series, the total voltage of the heating tube is equal to the sum of the voltages of each phase, so the total voltage of the three 220V heating tubes is 220*3=660V, which is not suitable.
2. Parallel connection
When connected in parallel, the total voltage of the heating tube is equal to the voltage of each phase, so the total voltage of the three 220V heating tubes is also 220V, and it is obviously not possible to connect to a 380V power supply.
3. Triangle connection method
In this connection method, the total voltage of the heating tube is equal to the phase voltage, so the three 220V electric heating tubes should be connected to the 220V power supply voltage.
4. Star (Y) connection method
When using the star connection method, the total voltage of the heating tube is equal to the phase voltage * 1.732. The three 220V heating tubes should be 220 * 1.732, which is approximately equal to 380.
