However, the diameter of a single head electric heating tube and the gap between the installation holes directly affect the service life of the electric heating tube. The gap between the mold electric heating tube is too large, the heat dissipation effect is poor, and the service life is short; The gap is too small, making it difficult to replace the mold heating tube.

The selection of installation hole size for mold electric heating tubes is closely related to the thermal density of the electric heating tubes. The temperature changes caused by different thermal densities are significant, and the degree of expansion of the protective sleeve also varies greatly. Therefore, it is necessary to develop appropriate installation hole sizes and determine the diameter of the electric heating tube.

For electric heating tubes, the heat from the electric heating tube is transferred to the heating medium at a faster speed, thereby reducing the heat of the electric heating tube itself and extending its service life. Meanwhile, the air also hinders the conduction of heat. If the gap between the electric heating tube and the mold hole is too large, the heat from the electric heating tube cannot be transferred to the module in a timely manner, causing the internal temperature of the electric heating tube to be too high and affecting its service life. If there is no gap between the electric heating tube and the mold hole, the electric heating tube will expand after use and be difficult to replace after damage. Therefore, we suggest that the closer the diameter of the pipeline is to the aperture, the better. The gap is generally between 1mm and 2mm, which can quickly transfer heating heat to the mold, reduce the heat of the electric heating tube itself, and extend the service life of the electric heating tube.
