How to install the electric heater circuit?
In a blasting risk environment, the installation orientation, laying method, wire raw materials, connection method, etc. of electrical circuits should be suitable for the regional risk level, and the following requirements should be satisfied.
Orientation. Electrical circuits should be laid in directions with low blasting risks or distant release sources. Electrical circuits should be laid along the exterior walls of buildings with blasting risks; When the explosion risk gas or vapor is heavier than air, the electrical circuit should be laid at a high altitude, and the cables should be directly buried or filled with sand in the cable trench; When the explosion risk gas or vapor is lighter than air, electrical circuits should be laid at a lower position, and cables should be laid in cable trenches. The overhead lines of 10kV and below shall not cross the blasting risk environment; When the overhead line is near the blasting risk environment, the interval between them shall not be less than 1.5 times the height of the tower.
Wiring and wiring methods for electric heating tubes. The primary choice for explosive risk environments is to use explosion-proof steel pipe wiring and cable wiring. Try to use thick walled pipes as much as possible, and some may require compaction experiments.
There are two reasons why electrical equipment ignites combustible gas mixtures: one is sparks and arcs generated by electrical equipment, and the other is that the surface of the electrical equipment (i.e. the surface in contact with the combustible gas mixture) generates heat. The explosion-proof intent can be achieved by placing the components that can generate arcs or sparks during normal operation of the equipment in an explosion-proof enclosure, or by adopting other explosion-proof types such as casting, sand filling, oil filling, or positive pressure. Regarding increased safety electrical equipment, it refers to equipment that does not experience arcs, sparks, or high temperatures during normal operation. If protective measures are adopted in its layout to ensure that the equipment does not experience arcs, sparks, or overheating under normal operation or recognized overload conditions, the safety and reliability of the equipment can be further improved. Therefore, electric heating tubes, as a device, have no ignition source during normal operation and can be used in explosive risk environments.
