How to prevent the electric plate of an electric rice cooker from burning out?

The main reason for the electric heating plate of the rice cooker to burn out or partially melt is that after long-term use, the spring in the temperature limiting magnetic steel controller of the rice cooker may lose its elasticity due to annealing softening, or deform due to prolonged burning, causing the magnetic steel to be stuck and unable to disconnect the power supply. For old models of electric rice cookers (without high-temperature protection components), the temperature will rise to 600 ℃ or above (the melting point of aluminum). If not detected in a timely manner, the electric heating plate will be burned out due to dry burning, and in severe cases, it will cause partial melting, and even cause the inner pot to burn out.
To prevent the occurrence of such faults, the following measures should be taken:
(1) For electric rice cookers that have been in use for more than two years, the temperature control part of the cooker should be inspected and maintained every 3-6 months (regularly) or according to the usage situation (irregularly), which can be found by opening the bottom cover.
(2) Regularly check whether the spring inside the temperature limiting magnetic steel controller (in the center of the electric heating plate) has become soft or deformed due to annealing, and whether the connecting rod can flexibly push the main switch contact to open and close freely.
(3) Check if the bimetallic thermostat contacts are sintered and stuck together, and do not cut off the power supply.
(4) After the high-temperature protection component of the new electric rice cooker is damaged, it cannot be replaced with metal wire.
If there are any problems with the above parts, except for the switch contact sintering adhesion that can be repaired, it is best to replace the other faults with new components of the same model and specification to avoid expanding the fault.
(5) After the electric rice cooker is powered on, personnel should not leave for more than half an hour, otherwise they should unplug the power plug before leaving to prevent accidents.
