How to prolong the service life of finned tubes

Long-term use of items cannot be separated from maintenance and upkeep, and finned tubes are no exception. So what are the specific aspects of finned tube maintenance?
In order to extend the service life of finned tubes, first of all, we should regularly check whether each finned tube is intact, whether there are scales such as sediment, coking, and rust attached, and clean them immediately. At the same time, we should also check whether the bonding between each finned tube and the rubber gasket is precise, and whether the rubber gasket itself is complete, so as to avoid leakage caused by debonding and damage of the rubber gasket.
As a heat exchange element, finned tubes work under high-temperature flue gas conditions for a long time. Finned tubes are divided into integral finned tubes, welded finned tubes, high-frequency welded finned tubes, and mechanically connected finned tubes. The compression nuts and upper and lower guide rods of the plate heat exchanger should be lubricated frequently with grease.
Each instrument adjustment should be operated by a person, and the operation and maintenance should be carried out strictly in accordance with the operating procedures; each time the fin tube is re-tightened, the scale position of the last tightening must be recorded, and the rubber gasket must not be over-pressed, which will reduce the service life of the rubber gasket.
When replacing the rubber gasket of the fin tube, the entire section must be updated to prevent uneven gaps between the pieces and affect the heat transfer results. In short, the fin tubes used in gas furnaces should be carefully maintained during use, which will reduce the occurrence of early failures, extend the service life, improve the efficiency of the operation, and bring more benefits.
Under normal circumstances, there may be slight leakage when circulating water is used in the early stage of operation. When the temperature rises to the extinguishing temperature, the leakage will disappear automatically. If the leakage still does not stop, the fin tube must be pressed again. If it still does not work, the rubber gasket should be opened and checked. It may also be that the fin tubes are not arranged in the order of the numbers on the fins, which should be corrected.
