How to reduce the false operation of overcurrent protection device in electromagnetic induction heating system?
Leave a message
In order to reduce the false operation of the overcurrent protection device of the electromagnetic induction heating system, measures can be taken from the aspects of optimizing hardware design, setting parameters reasonably and improving the operating environment, as follows:
Optimize hardware design
Select high-quality components: Use high-precision, stable current sensors and reliable signal processing circuit components to ensure the accuracy of current detection and the stability of signal processing, and reduce the probability of false operation caused by poor component performance.
Strengthen electromagnetic shielding: Perform good electromagnetic shielding on current sensors, signal processing circuits and related lines, and use metal shielding covers or shielded wires to prevent external electromagnetic interference from entering and affecting the detection and processing of current signals.
Set filter circuit: Add appropriate filter circuits such as low-pass filters and band-pass filters to the signal processing circuit to filter out high-frequency noise and other interference signals in the power supply, so that the current signal input to the overcurrent protection device is purer and more stable.
Set parameters reasonably
Accurately set the threshold: Accurately set the threshold of overcurrent protection according to the rated current of the electromagnetic induction heating system, the current fluctuation range during normal operation, and the tolerance of the equipment. Generally speaking, the threshold should be set at a level slightly higher than the maximum value of the normal operating current, and a certain safety margin should be considered to avoid triggering false operations due to normal current fluctuations.
Optimize time parameters: According to the response speed of the system and the actual working conditions, reasonably adjust the parameters such as the filter time constant and delay time in the signal processing circuit. For example, appropriately increasing the delay time can avoid false operation caused by instantaneous current spikes, but the delay time should not be too long, otherwise it will affect the response speed of the protection device to the real overcurrent fault.
Improve the operating environment
Stabilize the power supply: Ensure that the power supply of the electromagnetic induction heating system is stable and the voltage fluctuation is within the allowable range. The power supply can be stabilized by using devices such as voltage stabilizers to reduce the current changes caused by power supply voltage fluctuations, thereby reducing the possibility of false operation of the overcurrent protection device.
Control the ambient temperature: Install the overcurrent protection device in a location with suitable temperature and good ventilation to avoid it in an environment with high temperature, humidity or corrosive gas. Excessive temperature may change the performance of electronic components and cause false operation, so if necessary, take heat dissipation measures or install temperature control devices.
Strengthen maintenance and management
Regular inspection and calibration: Regularly check the overcurrent protection device to check whether the current sensor, signal processing circuit and other components are damaged, loose or aged, and replace the problematic components in time. At the same time, the protection device is calibrated according to the prescribed cycle to ensure its measurement accuracy and the accuracy of the action threshold.
Record and analyze operation data: Establish an operation data recording system for the overcurrent protection device to record the time, current value and other information of each action. By analyzing these data, abnormal situations can be discovered in time, whether there is a trend of misoperation, and possible causes can be found so that corresponding measures can be taken for improvement.
