How to use fast micro thermocouple

How to use fast micro thermocouples:

1. According to the object and range of measurement, select the appropriate length of protective paper tube and the applicable temperature gun.

2. Install the fast thermocouple on the temperature gun and return the secondary instrument pointer (or digital display) to zero. This means that the contact is good and the measurement can be carried out.

3. The depth of the fast thermocouple inserted into the molten steel should be 300-400mm. Do not measure the furnace wall or slag during measurement. Be fast, stable and accurate. When the secondary instrument gets the result, the gun should be lifted immediately. The fast thermocouple should not be immersed in the molten steel for more than 5 seconds, otherwise it is easy to burn the temperature gun.

4. After the temperature gun is taken out of the furnace, remove the used thermocouple and install a new one. Wait for a few minutes and prepare for the next measurement. Do not measure and remove continuously, otherwise it will cause temperature fluctuations.
