Installation and commissioning of horizontal explosion-proof electric heater

1、 Before trial operation, the system should be checked again to ensure that the power supply voltage matches the nameplate.
2、 According to the instructions of the temperature regulator. Reasonably set various temperature settings according to process requirements.
3、 The overheat protector of the electric heater has been set according to the explosion-proof regulations. No adjustment required.
4、 During trial operation, first open the pipeline valve, close the bypass valve, exhaust the air inside the heater, and fill the medium before starting the electric heater. Note: Do not dry burn the electric heater!
5、 The equipment should be operated correctly according to the operating instructions in the accompanying drawings and documents, and the voltage, current, temperature, and other related factors during operation should be recorded. Formal operation can only be arranged after 24 hours of trial operation without any abnormalities.
Installation:
1、 The horizontal explosion-proof electric heater is installed horizontally, with the outlet facing vertically upwards. A straight pipe section of more than 0.3 meters is required before and after the inlet, and a bypass pipeline is installed. To meet the needs of electric heater inspection and seasonal operation.
2、 Before installing the electric heater, a 500 V megger should be used to check the insulation resistance between the main wiring terminal and the shell. The insulation should be ≥ 1.5 M Ω, and the insulation resistance of the marine electric heater should be ≥ 10 M Ω. The body and various components should be checked for defects.
3、 The control cabinets produced by our factory are non explosion-proof equipment. It should be installed outside the explosion-proof area (safety area) and checked for proper wiring during installation.
4、 The electrical wiring must comply with explosion-proof requirements, and the cables must be copper core wires and connected using wiring lugs.
5、 The electric heater is equipped with a dedicated grounding bolt, and the user should reliably connect the grounding wire to this bolt. The grounding wire should use 4 mm2 or more stranded copper wire, and the grounding resistance should not exceed 4 Ω.
