Installation issues of thermocouple thermometer

After gaining a fundamental understanding of thermocouple thermometers, the most important thing to grasp is the performance of the thermocouple thermometer installation. Only with accurate installation can we accurately manipulate and apply thermocouple thermometers. So, do you know the performance that needs to be paid attention to when installing thermocouple thermometers?

Accurate installation of thermocouples and thermistor sensors is the main element to ensure their measurement accuracy and application life.

The device of the initial thermocouple and thermal resistance should be kept as perpendicular as possible to avoid deformation of the maintenance sleeve at low temperatures. However, in the case of flow velocity, it must be pulled out against the flow direction of the measured medium to ensure sufficient interaction between the temperature measuring element and the fluid to ensure measurement accuracy.

Other thermocouples and thermal resistors should only be installed in pipelines with maintenance layers to avoid heat dissipation. Secondly, when the thermocouple and thermistor sensor device are installed in the negative pressure pipeline, it is necessary to ensure excellent sealing at the measuring point to avoid the entry of external cold atmosphere, which may result in low readings.

When the device is outdoors, the junction box cover of the thermocouple and thermistor sensor should be facing upwards, and the inlet should be facing downwards to prevent rainwater or dust from entering the junction box and damaging the wiring inside the thermocouple and thermistor junction box, affecting their measurement accuracy.

The wiring situation of thermocouples and resistance thermometers should be regularly reviewed, especially for thermocouples and thermometers. Due to the high hardness of the compensating wires, they can easily detach from the terminals and form open circuit problems. Therefore, they should be well wired and not touch the thermometer wiring too much. Regular review is also necessary to obtain accurate temperature measurement.

The thermocouple thermometer device should be placed as close as possible to the temperature control point to be measured. To avoid heat transfer along the thermocouple or to prevent maintenance pipes from affecting the measured temperature, the thermocouple should be immersed in the measured fluid to a depth of at least 10 times the diameter.01
