Introduce several common rubber moulds
Leave a message
According to the mold structure and product production process, rubber molds are divided into four common molds: compression molding mold, die-casting molding mold, injection molding mold, and extrusion molding mold, as well as some special rubber molds that produce special rubber products, such as inflatable mold, immersion mold, etc. The following describes several commonly used molds.
1. Pressing mold
Also known as common die. It is to directly put the mixed, processed and weighed semi-finished rubber into the mold, and then put it into the plate vulcanizer for pressurization and heating. The rubber is vulcanized under pressure and heating.
Features: The mold has simple structure, strong versatility, wide use and convenient operation, so it occupies a large proportion in rubber molded products.
2. Die-casting mold
Also known as transfer mold or extrusion mold. It is to put mixed, simple and limited rubber or rubber block semi-finished products into the cavity of the die-casting mold, squeeze the rubber through the pressure of the die-casting plug, and make the rubber enter the cavity of the mold through the pouring system for curing and shaping.
Features: It is more complex than ordinary die, and is suitable for making thin-walled, thin and flexible products that can not be pressed or forced to be pressed by ordinary die, as well as rubber products with complex shape and difficult to feed. The products produced by this mold have good compactness and superior quality.
3. Injection molding mold
It is to inject the pre-heated plastic rubber into the mold through the pouring system of the injection mold for molding and curing.
Features: complex structure, suitable for large, thick wall, thin wall, complex shape products. High production efficiency, stable quality and automatic production.
4. Extrusion molding mold
Semi-finished rubber profiles with various cross-section shapes are made by the molding mold of the machine head to achieve the purpose of preliminary molding, and then transported to the curing tank for curing after cooling and shaping or used as the preformed semi-finished rubber required by the molding method.
Features: high production efficiency, stable quality, and automatic production.
