Introduction to the classification and use of digital bimetallic thermometers

The digital bimetallic thermometer is an industrial instrument suitable for measuring medium and low temperatures. It can be used to directly measure the temperature of gas, liquid and steam. It has the advantages of no mercury harm, easy to read, strong and vibration-resistant. It can replace industrial glass mercury thermometers and is widely used in industry and scientific research departments.
Digital bimetallic thermometers are divided into three types: ordinary type, outdoor type and anti-corrosion type. The ordinary type shell is made of iron plated, and the protective tube is made of stainless steel. It is suitable for general indoor occasions. The outdoor type shell is made of aluminum gold, and the protective tube and connecting column are made of stainless steel. The sealing performance is good, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor, general corrosion-resistant places. The anti-corrosion type shell is made of all stainless steel, the protective tube and connecting column can be made of molybdenum dititanium material, and the connecting parts are all made of sealant, which can be used for the measurement of most corrosive media and gases.
1. During the storage, installation, use and transportation of the digital bimetallic thermometer, the protective tube should be avoided as much as possible, and the protective tube should not be bent or deformed. During installation, it is strictly forbidden to twist the instrument shell.
2. The instrument should work normally within an ambient temperature of -30℃ to 80℃.
3. The temperature at which the instrument usually works can be 1/2 to 3/4 of the scale range.
4. The length of the bimetallic thermometer protection tube immersed in the measured medium must be greater than the length of the temperature sensing element. Generally, the immersion length is greater than 100mm, and the immersion length of the 0-50℃ range is greater than 150mm to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.
5. All types of bimetallic thermometers should not be used to measure the temperature of the medium in an open container, and the live contact thermometer should not be used in the control circuit in places with large working vibration.
6. During the storage, use, installation and transportation of the bimetallic thermometer, avoid collision with the protection tube, do not bend or deform the protection tube, and do not use the meter as a wrench.
7. The thermometer should be inspected regularly under normal use.
