Lubricating oil system and cooling System Introduction

① Operating process of lubricating oil system
The lubricating oil is pressed into the oil cooler by the gas pressure in the oil and gas tank. After cooling the lubricating oil in the cooler, it passes through the oil filter to remove impurities and particles, and is divided into two paths. One path is sprayed into the compression chamber at the lower end of the body to cool compressed air, and the other path is passed to both ends of the body for lubrication of the bearing group and transmission gear. After that, (the lubricating oil of each part) is gathered in the compression chamber and discharged with the compressed air. The compressed gas mixed with oil enters the oil gas drum to separate a large portion of the oil, and the remaining oil mist gas passes through the oil fine separator to filter out the remaining oil. After passing through the pressure retaining valve, it enters the rear cooler for cooling, which is then returned to the system in use.
② Oil circuit components of the lubricating oil system
Oil cooler After the oil cooler contacts the gas, the cooling method of the cooler is the same, with two cooling methods: air cooling and water cooling. If the environmental conditions are not good, the fins of the air-cooled cooler are susceptible to dust covering, which affects the cooling effect, and the exhaust temperature may be too high, leading to a trip. Therefore, the dust on the surface of the fin should be blown off regularly with compressed gas. If it cannot be blown clean, it must be cleaned with solvent, and it is important to keep the cooling surface of the cooler clean. When the shell and tube cooler is clogged, it must be soaked with chemical cleaning agents, and the fouling inside the heat exchange tube must be removed with a mechanically cleaned high-pressure water gun. It is important to ensure complete cleaning.
B. Oil filter An oil filter is a paper filter whose function is to remove impurities such as metal particles, oil impurities, and oil deposits from the oil. The filtration accuracy is between 5 and 10 um, providing perfect protection for bearings and rotors. Whether the oil filter should be replaced can be determined by its differential pressure indicator and operating time. If the differential pressure indicator light is on, it indicates that the oil filter is blocked and must be replaced. After the first 500 hours of operation of the new machine, it is necessary to replace the oil and oil filter. Later, whether to replace it depends on the differential pressure indicator or the operating time. If the oil filter has a large differential pressure and is not replaced, it may result in insufficient oil intake, causing an interlock shutdown due to high exhaust temperature, and at the same time, insufficient oil may affect the bearing life.
The oil gas separator oil separator filter element is made of multiple layers of fine and dense glass fiber, and the mist like oil gas contained in the compressed air can be almost completely filtered out after passing through the oil separator. Under normal operation, the oil separator can be used for about 3000 hours. The quality of lubricating oil and the pollution level of the surrounding environment have a significant impact on its service life. If the environmental pollution is very serious, it may be considered to install a front gas path filter; As for the selection of lubricating oil, it is necessary to use special lubricating oil for screw compressors, and the most taboo is to use fake oil or mixed oil. The outlet of the oil separator is equipped with a safety valve and a pressure retaining valve, from which the compressed gas is led out to the aftercooler. The oil filtered by the oil fine separator is concentrated in a small circular groove in the center, and then flows back to the throttle check valve through a return pipe before entering the intake side of the main engine for recycling, which can prevent the filtered lubricating oil from being discharged with the gas again.
There are two main types of cooling for compressor cooling systems: air cooled and water cooled
① Air-cooled
Cooling air is pumped in through an axial fan and blown through the cooling fins of the cooler to exchange heat with compressed gas and lubricating oil, achieving cooling effects. The maximum allowable ambient temperature of this cooling system is 45 ℃. If it exceeds the allowable ambient temperature, the system may cause interlocking shutdown, such as placing it near a high-temperature boiler.
② Water cooled
The design of the cooling water circulation system must pay special attention to the temperature of the cooling water to meet the reference temperature of the compressor cooling water temperature. In particular, the quality of cooling water must meet general industrial water standards or above, and the use of secondary effluent should be avoided as much as possible. If the water quality is poor, the cooling water tower must be regularly cleaned with cleaning agents to avoid affecting the efficiency and service life of the cooler. In winter, if the normal temperature is below the freezing point, the cooling water in the cooler must be drained after the unit is shut down, otherwise the cooler will freeze and crack.
