The threaded electric heating wire (symbol 5) and the lead out rod (symbol 3) in the diagram are located in the center of the metal protective sleeve (symbol 6). Its manufacturing process involves threading the spiral electric heating wire into seamless steel and copper pipes, and the gaps are usually filled with magnesium oxide powder. Magnesium oxide powder filling not only insulates but also has strong thermal conductivity. Many low-quality manufacturers produce low-quality electric heating tubes using the worst filling material - quartz sand. After the filling material is installed, the pipe is then shrunk using a shrinking machine to compact the oxide medium, ensuring that the electric heating wire is isolated from the air and the center position does not shift and collide with the pipe wall. In this way, the heat output per unit area can increase by more than ten times.

① Insulator: Generally, white porcelain head is used.
② Sealing material: (mainly understanding its function) Sealing material is mainly used to prevent insulation filling materials from easily absorbing water vapor in the environment, ensuring that the electric heating tube has good insulation performance. The commonly used sealing materials mainly include: paint film, silicone organic paint, epoxy resin, silicone rubber (we mainly use silicone rubber) and other sealing plugs.
③ Lead out rod: Generally, iron is used because its heat transfer performance is relatively fast
④ Fillers: Generally, there are magnesium oxide powder and quartz sand. We no longer use quartz sand to produce electric heating tubes, and the cheap electric heating tubes on the market are all made of quartz sand. Our magnesium oxide powder is made of modified magnesium oxide powder. The electric heating tube made of modified magnesium oxide powder is moisture-proof.
⑤ Electric heating wire: mainly includes iron chromium aluminum and nickel chromium alloy wire. Iron chromium aluminum is relatively cheaper, usually without special instructions. Iron chromium aluminum alloy wires are used in electric heating pipes. Nickel chromium alloy wire is more expensive. The difference between the two wires: The working temperature of iron chromium aluminum alloy materials can reach 1400 ℃, which is sufficient to meet the needs of electric heating tubes. However, nickel chromium wire has good flexibility and oxidation resistance, while iron chromium aluminum wire is relatively brittle.
⑥ Metal protective sleeve: The main ones are stainless steel (SUS201, 304, 321, 316, 310, etc.), red copper, and carbon steel (iron). Choose different metal protective sleeves according to different working environments.
