Strengthening the insulation measures of the mold can reduce the heat loss of the mold, enable the mold to reach the predetermined production temperature in a short period of time, and reduce energy waste. Insulation measures for heating plates

Heating plate insulation usually uses asbestos board or asbestos cloth insulation, but the asbestos cloth is not easy to place flat, and it also has a certain impact on the parallelism of the pressure plate. There are many types of asbestos boards, the most common of which is rubber asbestos board. However, this type of asbestos board is not used as a material for sealing and insulation, and has a certain level of compressibility. At high temperatures, it will release a very unpleasant odor, which affects the operating environment and the health of the operator.

The insulation of the heating plate should be made of asbestos cardboard, with a common specification of 1000 × 1000, 3-5mm thick, with a relatively regular plate body, good parallelism, average compressibility, and no odor generated at high temperatures.

Insulation measures for molds

There are many insulation measures for molds, and aluminum hydroxide insulation cotton can be wrapped in stone wool or glass cloth for insulation. Now there is also a kind of thermal insulation coating on the market, which is an ideal material for mold thermal insulation at present. It is composed of medium length fiber, slurry and a thermal insulation foam material, with moderate viscosity and easy application. This material is commonly used as an insulation layer material for chemical and heating pipelines, and is slightly alkaline (prone to corroding molds). No negative effects such as burning, melting, or odor were found during use at 150 ℃. At the same time, the material is lightweight and has strong plasticity, making it easy to form a more beautiful mold surface.
