Operating Procedures and Precautions for Temperature Control Electric Heating Plate

Temperature controlled electric heating plate is a radiation type heater that has the characteristics of fast heating, high temperature, uniform heating, and energy saving. After being electrified, strong broad-spectrum directional radiation can be formed in vertical space. It effectively converts electrical energy into far-infrared radiation energy, directly transfers it to the dried object, quickly converts it into molecular thermal motion, and dries from the inside out to achieve the goal of rapid drying and shaping, and achieves good energy-saving effects.
When far infrared radiation reaches an object, absorption, reflection, and transmission can occur. The heated and dried substance absorbs far-infrared radiation energy at a certain depth both internally and on the surface molecules, producing a self-heating effect, causing the solvent or water molecules to evaporate and heat evenly, thereby avoiding deformation and quality change caused by different degrees of thermal expansion, and maintaining the appearance, physical and mechanical properties, fastness, and color of the substance in good condition.
The temperature control electric heating plate is a radiation element made of silicon carbide plate coated with metal oxide or far-infrared paint. Electric heating wires are installed in the hole (or slot) of the element, and thick insulation, fire-resistant, and heat-insulating materials are placed at the bottom of the element. Then, a metal shell is installed, and the terminal post is installed to be electrified for use.
Operating procedures for electric heating panels
Standardize the operation of electric heating panels, use instruments correctly, and ensure the smooth progress of testing work, as well as the personal and equipment safety of operators. This instrument is used for heating, boiling, digesting, and acidizing test solutions/samples.
Scope of application: Suitable for the use and operation of temperature controlled electric heating plates. Responsibilities: Electric heating panel operators shall operate the instrument in accordance with this procedure, carry out daily maintenance of the instrument, and register its use. The electric heating plate keeper is responsible for supervising whether the instrument operation complies with regulations, conducting regular maintenance and upkeep of the instruments, and ensuring that the instruments used are within the calibration validity period. The department head is responsible for the comprehensive management of instruments.
Operating procedures for heating plates
1. Check if all wires are connected properly;
2. Connect the power supply and turn it on;
3. Press the temperature setting button to set to the desired temperature.
4. The electric heating plate starts heating until the digital display reaches the set temperature.
5. After use, turn off the power and let the hot plate Free cooling to room temperature.
6. Functional checks should be conducted on the operation of the equipment every six months.
7. Check if the equipment is in good condition; Whether the power cord is securely connected; Check if the surrounding area of the board is clean and if there are any combustibles or combustibles.
8. Connect the power supply, the thermal alarm display and digital display lights are on, and the display is normal. When heating, the indicator light flashes to warn the user of the high temperature of the heating plate. The digital display shows that the temperature increases as the heating time increases, until the set temperature is reached.
9. Check the heating temperature control degree. Press the temperature setting button and set the temperature at 120 ℃. Observe the numerical display window to see if the error between the displayed temperature and the set temperature is within ± 2 ℃. All the above inspection items are qualified, indicating that the instrument is normal and can be used normally.

Precautions for using temperature controlled electric heating plate products:
1. The electric heating plate should not be stored damp and should be moved to prevent vibration.
2. The electric heating board has three sockets, and the "ground wire" should be grounded when used.
3. If the bottom surface of the electric heating board is used for a long time at around 65 ℃, insulation materials such as asbestos board should be placed at the foot of the electric heating board to prevent damage to other objects.
When repairing the heating element, loosen the screws on the silicon carbide plate and remove it. When repairing the switch or connecting wire, it is easy and convenient to open the cover plate of the lower junction box.
5. The contact surface of the installed position of this electric heating element should be flat and free of unevenness
6. This electric heating element should be placed dry to avoid immersion in water that may affect its insulation performance
7. It should be used under voltage
