Overtemperature control device for air duct electric heater

Overtemperature control device for air duct electric heater

The air duct electric heater seems to have an over temperature control device, what are the control requirements for this control device?

The air duct heater is mainly used for heating the air in the air duct, with specifications divided into three forms: low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature. The common feature in the structure is that it uses steel plates to support the electric heating tube to reduce the vibration of the electric heating tube when the fan stops, and an over temperature control device is installed in the junction box.

The low-temperature type can be directly installed on the air duct, while the medium temperature and high-temperature types have 100mm thick insulation material sandwiched between the outer wall of the channel and the heater junction box due to structural differences. This reduces the external heat dissipation of the entire channel and also reduces the temperature inside the junction box.

The air duct electric heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 850 ℃. It has been widely applied in many research and production laboratories, such as aerospace, weapons industry, chemical industry, and higher education institutions. The air duct electric heater is particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and high flow high temperature combined systems and accessory tests.

The range of use of air electric heaters is wide: they can heat any gas, and the generated hot air is dry, non-conductive, non combustible, non corrosive, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable).

There are three control requirements:

1, The equipment is equipped with control display instruments, which display relevant temperature, operating current, etc; Implement manual/automatic control mode: manual control: manually adjust the outlet temperature to increase or decrease the electricity load; Automatic control: Automatically adjust the outlet air temperature according to the inlet temperature, increase or decrease the electricity load, achieve unmanned operation, and can be manually operated in case of system abnormalities.

2, Equipped with 4 temperature measuring probes for over temperature reporting, with the outlet used for temperature detection and control. The control cabinet adopts PLC control with remote interface, which can achieve local remote control. The temperature measurement probes are all K-type thermocouples.

3, Each power supply system has complete safety protection, and the safety protection level meets the national standard requirements.
