Heating method of electric heater

Reason for internal malfunction of electric heater:

The packaging machine for heater products generally controls the AC power supply inside the heater by temperature controlled external contacts. When the temperature of the heater is lower than the set temperature, the contact of the temperature control surface in the heater is connected, and the temperature of the heater rises. When the temperature of the electric heater is higher than the set temperature, the contact of the temperature control surface in the heater opens, and the temperature of the heater drops.

The temperature control in the heater controls the opening and closing of the external contacts to ensure that the heater operates within a certain temperature range. Once the product shows a burn out problem, the operator cannot determine whether the heater is experiencing a temperature rise and normal power outage or a heater circuit breaker problem resulting in a heater power outage. Due to the thermal inertia of the heater, the temperature inside the electric heater needs to be delayed for a period of time before it drops. Therefore, when the operator discovers that the product is unqualified, it has constituted hundreds or even thousands of product waste, affecting the quality of the product. The electric heater circuit breaker detection equipment should be able to automatically identify temperature rise, heater power outage, and heater circuit breaker faults.

Heating method of electric heater:

1. Resistance heating: This mainly uses the Joule effect of current to convert electrical energy into thermal energy to heat objects. Due to the fact that the heated object and heating element are divided into two parts, the variety of the heated object is generally unconstrained and the operation is simple.

2. Induction heating: It is the thermal effect formed by the induced current (eddy current) of a conductor in an alternating electromagnetic field, which causes the conductor to generate heat on its own. This heating feature allows for uniform and surface heating of objects, as well as arbitrary partial heating.

3. Arc heating: Using the high-temperature heating of an object generated by an arc. The temperature of the arc column can reach 3000-6000K, suitable for high-temperature melting of metals.

4. Electron beam heating: Using electrons moving at high speed under the effect of an electric field to bombard the surface of an object, causing it to be heated.

5. Electric infrared heating: Using infrared radiation to radiate an object. After the object absorbs infrared radiation, it converts the radiation energy into thermal energy and is heated. It has strong penetration ability, is easy to be absorbed by objects, and infrared heating can be used quickly.

6. Medium heating: Using a high-frequency electric field to heat insulation materials. It has a fast heating speed, high thermal efficiency, and uniform heating.
