Structural analysis and operation instructions of well type carburizing furnace
Leave a message
The carburizing furnace consists of a furnace shell, furnace lining and heating system, furnace tank, air duct, furnace cover and opening and closing system, furnace tank sealing system, fast cooling system, process medium gas supply system, temperature control system, carbon control system, etc.
The furnace shell is cylindrical, welded from 12mm Q235 steel plate, vertically installed and placed. The furnace is built with lightweight insulation bricks, high-strength anti carburizing refractory bricks, and ceramic fiber blocks. The heating element is divided into three zones and controlled by a power regulator for PID control.
The furnace barrel is a cylindrical structure made of high-temperature resistant stainless steel (SUS310S). The barrel is rolled into a corrugated shape to increase its own strength. The base is equipped with an oil groove for sealing the furnace barrel, in which the furnace barrel can freely extend downwards to ensure sealing performance under high temperature expansion.
The sealing flange of the furnace cover is a water-cooled structure, which keeps the sealing ring of the furnace mouth in a low temperature state, ensuring the sealing of the furnace cover. The furnace cover is equipped with a guiding device for lifting, a pressure maintaining valve, a waste gas emission combustion device, a flame detection device, a circulating fan, an automatic furnace cover lifting and rotating structure.
There are many gas/liquid inlet ports on the top of the furnace cover, which can introduce media such as methanol, propane, air, nitrogen, etc. All media can be adjusted through a flow meter, controlled by an electromagnetic valve, and there is also a manual circuit for operation in case of abnormalities.
Operating procedures:
1. Before starting up, confirm whether the surrounding area of the furnace is safe, and ensure that there are no faults in the wiring and electrical appliances.
2. When operating the carburizing furnace cover, one person supports the cantilever handle (to prevent the furnace cover from moving left and right and damaging the oxygen probe), while the other person operates the button and closely monitors the movement position of the furnace cover. (The entire operation of this furnace is interlocked, and heating cannot be carried out if the furnace cover is not properly closed.)
3. Heating: Before heating, make sure to turn on the cooling water and flow fan first; Set heating process parameters on the instrument according to process requirements and operate the instrument. Turn on the main command switch, and the work indicator light will be on. If it does not light up, it may be due to the furnace cover not being closed properly or a circuit malfunction.
4. Throughout the entire operation of the furnace, operators are required to closely monitor the system, conduct regular inspections, and ensure that the water temperature at the cooling water outlet does not exceed 65 ℃. In case of any unexpected incidents, please immediately turn off the main power supply.
5. After the process is completed, it is prohibited to turn off the cooling water and fan when the furnace temperature exceeds 150 ℃. It is strictly prohibited to stop cooling water during equipment operation, otherwise it will damage the cooling water jacket and turnover fan.
6. Kerosene and methanol are flammable materials, please be careful during operation. Dropping methanol into the furnace below 700 ℃ is prohibited, as it is prone to explosion accidents.
7. If the carburizing furnace is not used for a long time, please turn off the main power supply.
