1, Process structure of silicone strip extruder

The silicone strip extruder is mainly composed of a power motor, gearbox, speed controller, feed inlet, extrusion screw, and extrusion head.

2, Analysis of the working process of silicone strip extruder

1. Prepare the silicone extruder before starting up

(1) Check for any abnormalities in all parts of the machine, loose fasteners, and leaks in the pipelines;

(2) The gearbox should be filled with filtered lubricating oil, and the oil level should be consistent with the line marked on the oil level indicator; Each lubrication point should be filled with sufficient lubricating grease;

(3) Prepare the board and various tools;

(4) According to the production task order issued by the machine, move the plastic to the feeding port side, check the wire core for qualification, and place it on the wire rack;

(5) Choose a good mold sleeve and mold core.

2. Start the silicone strip extruder

(1) Start the drying jacket and set the temperature according to the process requirements;

(2) Start the heater and set the temperature according to the process requirements;

(3) Before the official start-up, whether there are periodic impacts or other abnormal noises during operation, and whether there are scratches on the screws and shaft sleeves;

(4) Thread the wire core through the mold core and connect the lead wire. Thread the lead wire through the drying sleeve, spark machine, and powder box, wrap it 3-4 times on the traction wheel, and then fix the lead wire on the winding reel;

(5) Calibration: Start the screw, slowly rotate the speed potentiometer, and after extruding the rubber, calibration can be performed. Calibration is adjusted through the large bolt on the knob head. After the initial adjustment of the mold, first open a section and mark the identification direction on the surface of the cable. Check whether the wire core is eccentric. After adjusting the mold, normal production can be carried out;

(6) Pay attention to the operation of equipment and product quality in normal production, regularly measure the outer diameter, and observe the appearance. The surface of the cable should be flat, with uniform color, no mechanical damage, and no defects such as bamboo joints or impurities;

(7) After extruding a reel or a certain length of cable, the thickness and appearance of the cable should be checked repeatedly. There must be a certain distance between the outer layer and the side plate of each cable reel, and a process flow card should be hung on each cable reel and recorded;

(8) If there are any abnormal phenomena or noises during the operation of the silicone extruder, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and maintenance or the relevant departments should be notified.

3, Shutdown and precautions of silicone strip extruder

(1) Cut off the traction, main engine and other power supplies in sequence, disassemble the machine head, remove the adhesive, tighten the screw adhesive before installation to prevent corrosion of the parts, and cut off the main power supply;

(2) After the mold core and mold sleeve are lowered, remove the rubber material, wipe it clean, apply grease, and hang a label with the aperture size to avoid collision between the mold core mouth and the mold sleeve mouth;

(3) Prevent metal or other hard objects from entering the barrel to avoid damaging the screw;

(4) Pay attention to covering the feeding port cover after stopping the machine;

(5) Concentrate on turning on the device to prevent accidents.
