Test method for thermal stability of industrial thermocouples
Leave a message
In order to ensure the stability of industrial thermocouples during application, it is necessary to stop testing the thermal stability of industrial thermocouples before using them. Can you know the testing method for the thermal stability of industrial thermocouples?
Test Request
The thermoelectric stability test of thermocouples should be stopped with a maintenance tube. The deviation range of experimental temperature from the lower limit temperature is ± 10 ℃. The length of the thermocouple being heated is 300mm or 50% of its total length (choose the smaller value and agree to deviate by 10%).
The temperature unevenness in the heating area should be within 10 ℃. For thermocouples with sealed junction boxes, the junction box should be properly sealed during the experiment
Testing method
a. Measure the thermoelectric potential of the test thermocouple near the highest test temperature point according to the prescribed method, and convert the measurement results into the thermoelectric potential value corresponding to the highest test temperature point
b. Place the thermocouple of the subject into the experimental furnace, then raise the furnace to the designated temperature and maintain it for 250 hours.
c. Repeat step a after natural cooling.
d. Calculate the thermal electric change △ E △ E=Ec Ea according to the formula: Ec, Ea - the results obtained by distinguishing between step c and step a.
