Each has its own unique characteristics and is widely used in various machinery and food drying applications. Dryers can be divided into industrial and consumer dryers. Industrial dryers are also called drying equipment or dryers, while consumer dryers are a type of washing machine, generally used to remove moisture from clothing and other textiles after washing and dehydration.
A dryer, also known as a desiccant, is a mechanical device that uses heat to reduce the moisture content of materials and is used to dry objects. Dryers use heat to vaporize moisture (generally water or other volatile liquid components) from the material, resulting in a solid material with a specified moisture content. The purpose of drying is to prepare the material for use or further processing. The purpose of a dehumidifier is to meet the needs of materials before use or further processing. Dryers can dry materials of various shapes, while dehumidifiers are used to dry objects, such as wood for making molds or drying ceramic blanks before firing to prevent cracking in the finished product.
