The reason and solution for the hot runner heating coil not heating up

Analysis of Causes of Hot Runner Heater Non-Heating:

1. Heater Damage

2. No Power Output

3. Contactor Burnout

4. No Control Power to Contactor

5. Circuit Break

Solution 1: First, turn off the power, disconnect the heater coil wires, and use a multimeter to check if the heater coil is burned out. If so, replace it immediately.

Solution 2: Check the power supply to the heater coil with a multimeter. Typically, the problem is a tripped or burned-out heater switch. Turn it off and back on again. If it's broken, turn off the power and replace it.

Solution 3: First, check the contactor's control power supply. If it's powered but not functioning, it indicates a contactor problem. Check for loose contacts. After loosening, turn off the power, and tighten the connector with a screwdriver. If there's a problem with the connector, it indicates a bad contactor and can be replaced. Be sure to mark each wire to avoid confusion later.

Solution 4: No control power typically indicates a power failure on the computer board. There are generally two issues: a blown fuse and a damaged output. Replacing a blown fuse can solve the problem. A damaged output requires using a spare output or repairing the 10-way circuit board.

Solution 5: Use a multimeter to check the circuit section by section. Find the broken section and replace or reconnect it.
