The superiority of Kanthal in Sweden is mainly highlighted in the following six aspects:

1. The electrical energy conversion efficiency of Kanthal electric heating wire is higher than that of domestic electric heating wire, with a maximum temperature of 1425 ℃ 2600 F, which is higher than the 1250 ℃ 2280 F of nickel chromium alloy.

2. Kanthal electric heating wire and domestic electric heating wire are used in the same specifications, and the service life of imported electric heating wire is 4-8 times that of domestic wire.

3. Kanthal electric heating wire has a high surface load.

4. Kanthal electric heating wire has a high electrical resistivity.

5. Kanthal electric heating wire has a lower density and saves material costs.

6. It will not produce oxide debris, which can contaminate goods and electric furnaces, and may cause short circuits or malfunctions in electric heating elements and gas burners. For the use of electric furnaces, the result of using Kangtaier iron chromium aluminum alloy is lower operating costs, less material consumption, and longer lifespan.

The advantages of imported electric heating wire products, such as slightly higher operating costs, lower replacement frequency, less material consumption, and relatively long service life compared to domestic electric heating wire products, have been widely used in large and medium-sized enterprises and sophisticated equipment. At present, small and medium-sized enterprises are also starting to replace Swedish heating wires, which are gradually being accepted. The price is slightly higher than that of domestic heating wires, but in the long run, it is still a good choice.

How can we use or operate electric heating wire components to make their lifespan longer? Some suggestions are as follows:

1. Avoid temperature changes:

The operating life of the heating element (Contair wire) will decrease with temperature changes, so a temperature stable power control equipment should be selected.

2. Select thicker components (Contil wire) material:

The thickness of the material has a direct impact on the lifespan of the component. As the wire increases, more alloy components can form new oxides per unit on the surface. Therefore, at specific temperatures, thicker linear elements (such as Contil wire) have a longer lifespan, and similarly, thicker strip elements have a longer lifespan than thinner ones.

3. Adjust the temperature of the components (Contair wire) according to the atmosphere of the electric furnace:

The influence of certain common electric furnace atmospheres on the maximum operating temperature of heating elements, due to the risk of "green corrosion" at 800-950 ℃ and 1470-1740 ℃, nickel chromium Contel wire should not be used in electric furnaces with protective atmospheres containing carbon monoxide. In such cases, it is recommended to use Kangtaier alloy wire, but the heating element must be pre oxidized at 1050 ℃ and 1920 ℃ for 7-10 hours, and the heating element should be regularly re oxidized.

4. To avoid erosion of solids, fluids, and gases in electric furnaces:

Atmospheric impurities, such as oil, dust, volatile substances, or carbon deposits, can damage heating elements. Sulfur is harmful to all nickel alloys, and different states of chlorine can damage Contel wire and nickel chromium Contel wire alloys. Metal solutions or salts may also harm heating elements (Contel wire).
