If the ventilation equipment malfunctions, causing acid mist to diffuse, it will inevitably cause corrosion and oxidation of the intermediate coating, causing impurities to be carried in the coating, affecting the appearance quality, adhesion, and anti-corrosion performance of the electroplated parts.

The electroplating process produces some corrosive gases, and most of the raw materials used in production are acidic or alkaline substances, which are highly corrosive. When production equipment operates in such a working environment for a long time, it will inevitably cause varying degrees of corrosion, inevitably leading to problems such as line aging, track corrosion, mechanical lubrication decline, etc., resulting in pipeline and tank leakage, power transmission system signal failure, and crane operation misalignment.

When the current density is too low, the cathodic polarization effect is small, and the crystallization of the coating is coarse, even without the coating. An increase in the temperature of the plating solution can accelerate diffusion, reduce concentration polarization, and also accelerate the dehydration process of ions. Stirring can reduce cathodic polarization and coarsen grains, but it can increase current density and thus increase productivity. The pH value in the plating solution can affect the discharge potential of hydrogen, the precipitation of alkaline inclusions, the composition of complexes or hydrates, and the adsorption degree of additives. In addition, stirring can also enhance the effect of the leveling agent.
