For example, upgrades to a system's process can create manufacturing tolerances, and larger systems can create larger manufacturing tolerances, requiring improved designs or lower expected performance metrics. Another example is that the user wants to improve the expected product performance but simply improves the design. On the surface, the user's purpose seems to have been achieved, but if the new design is sensitive to the thickness of the film, unless the process is changed to reduce manufacturing tolerances, otherwise The product is unlikely to meet the new product performance requirements over the long term.
