What are the connections between the TC module and the thermocouple

1. What is a TC module
The TC module is an electronic module used for measuring temperature, which is suitable for various temperature measurement scenarios, such as industrial production, laboratories, temperature control systems, etc. The TC module is able to convert temperature information into electrical signals, and then communicate with other devices through interfaces.

2. What is a thermocouple
Thermocouple is a commonly used temperature sensor, which consists of wires made of two different metal materials welded together. When the temperature of two solder joints is different, a thermoelectric electromotive force is generated. By measuring this potential difference, the temperature of the object being measured can be obtained.

3. Wiring method for TC module and thermocouple
Generally speaking, correctly connecting the TC module to the thermocouple is an important step in ensuring measurement. There are several wiring methods:

Direct welding method is a common wiring method. Weld the two solder joints of the thermocouple together with the positive and negative electrodes of the TC module (usually marked with+and -), ensuring that the wiring is firm and the solder joints are not loose.

The needle rolling contact method is suitable for situations that require frequent replacement of thermocouples. Connect the two solder joints of the thermocouple to the contacts of the positive and negative needle roller contactors of the TC module, and achieve contact through the deformation of the needle rollers. This contact method is simple and convenient, but attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the contacts.

A clamp type connector is a wiring method that allows for the disassembly and replacement of thermocouples at any time. Insert the thermocouple into the clamp type connector of the TC module to ensure good contact. This type of joint usually has waterproof, dustproof and other characteristics, and is suitable for temperature measurement in harsh environments.

4. How to ensure the correctness of wiring
To ensure correct wiring and obtain accurate temperature measurement results, the following points need to be noted:

Before wiring, check if the interface between the TC module and the thermocouple is clean and undamaged, and confirm that the electrical connection between the two is normal.

According to the identification of the TC module and thermocouple, correctly connect the positive and negative poles. Usually, the red line represents the positive pole, and the white or blue line represents the negative pole.

Ensure that the welded or contacted joints are firm and reliable to avoid measurement errors caused by looseness.

5. Summary
TC modules and thermocouples are commonly used temperature measurement devices and are very important in practical applications. The correct wiring method can ensure the accuracy and stability of temperature measurement. Choosing the appropriate wiring method and maintaining good connector connections can improve measurement, while paying attention to pre wiring inspection and confirmation can effectively avoid unnecessary errors.
