What are the main functional features of electric heaters
Electric heaters are mainly the process of converting electrical energy into thermal energy during the operation process. Since the power generation source can generate thermal effects through wires, many inventors around the world have been engaged in research and development of various electric heating appliances. The development and widespread use of electric heating is similar to other professions, following a rule: from gradual promotion to countries around the world, from urban to rural areas, from group use to households, and then to individuals, products are developed from low level to high level.
This type of electric heater can heat the air to a high temperature of 450 ℃. Its application range is very wide, and it can basically heat any gas. Its main functional features include:
(1) It is non-conductive, does not burn or explode, and has no chemical corrosion or pollution, making it safe and reliable to use.
(2) The heating and cooling speed is fast, the work efficiency is high, and it is stable.
(3) Temperature control does not exhibit drift, thus enabling automatic control.
(4) It has good mechanical functions, high strength, long service life, and can generally reach several decades.
1, Heat treatment: partial or complete quenching, annealing, tempering, and heat permeation of various metals;
2, Hot forming: whole piece forging, partial forging, hot heading, hot rolling;
3, Welding: brazing of various metal products, welding of various cutting tools and saw blades, welding of steel pipes and copper pipes, welding of the same and different types of metals;
4, Metal melting: (vacuum) melting, casting and steaming coating of metals such as gold, silver, copper, iron, aluminum, etc;
5, Other applications of high-frequency heating machines: semiconductor single crystal growth, thermal cooperation, bottle mouth heat sealing, toothpaste skin heat sealing, powder coating, metal implanted plastics.
The heating methods of electric heaters mainly include resistance heating, medium heating, infrared heating, induction heating, arc heating, and electron beam heating. The major difference among these heating methods is that they have different methods for converting electrical energy.
1. Before starting operation, the electric heater equipment should be checked for any air leakage and whether the grounding wire of the equipment is safe and reliable. Ensure that all tasks are correct before opening the equipment for operation.
2. The insulation of the electric heating tube of the electric heater should be checked, and its insulation resistance to the ground should be less than 1 ohm. If it is greater than 1 ohm, it is prohibited to use it. It must be ensured that it meets the requirements of the specifications before continuous operation can be carried out.
3. After the wiring of the product is correctly connected, the terminals must be properly sealed to avoid oxidation.
