Damage to exhaust gas from injection molding machines
It is understood that during the process of heating and characterizing plastic products in the injection molding machine, some organic waste gases may occur. The main content of exhaust gas composition analysis for these enterprises includes non methane total hydrocarbons and dust particles.
Non methane total hydrocarbons refer to all evaporable hydrocarbons except methane. This chemical substance has direct damage to the human body and can damage the central nervous system, leading to diseases such as memory loss, fatigue, and headaches. In addition, when this substance is exposed to sunlight, photochemical smoke can also occur, which has an impact on the environment. Similarly, dust particles can cause significant damage to the human body and can easily cause respiratory diseases.
Treatment method for waste gas from injection molding machines
Considering the certain harm of injection molding machines to human health and the environment, China's environmental protection department has made strict regulations on the emission concentration of non methane total hydrocarbons in injection molding exhaust, which must be treated and discharged after the concentration reaches the standard. Therefore, the treatment of enterprise exhaust gas is particularly important in the production and development process of injection molding machines.
Nowadays, most injection molding machine factories install a gas collection hood and activated carbon adsorption equipment on the top of the plastic machine for waste gas treatment, and then organically connect the gas collection hood and activated carbon adsorption equipment to integrate them.
When the injection molding machine begins to produce, the gas collection hood will quickly absorb the exhaust gas generated by the injection molding machine, and then use pipelines to transport the exhaust gas to the activated carbon adsorption equipment. Large dust particles in the exhaust gas will fall to the bottom of the activated carbon adsorption equipment, while harmful gases containing non methane total hydrocarbons will enter the activated carbon filter layer and be firmly adsorbed by the activated carbon.
It can be seen that although harmful exhaust gas may occur during the production process of plastic injection molding machines, as long as gas collection hoods and activated carbon adsorption equipment are installed, this problem of significant damage can be easily addressed.
