What are the validation rules for thermocouples and thermocouple temperature transmitters?
Leave a message
We only know how to use the instrument. In fact, any inspection and testing instrument undergoes a simple factory inspection before leaving the factory, without any adjustments to the parameters. So after purchasing new testing equipment, we should validate the equipment to ensure the accuracy of the inspection values. For temperature transmitters, which are important detection devices, we certainly need to validate them before use.
The temperature transmitters commonly used in the market currently include two forms: thermocouple temperature transmitters and thermistor temperature transmitters. Before application, we need to test the temperature transmitter to eliminate unnecessary faults and errors. Verification requires professional personnel to operate. Below, the professional technical personnel of Platinum Rui Measurement and Control Technology Instrument will briefly introduce the verification methods of thermocouples and thermal resistance temperature transmitters, which will help everyone to have a specific understanding of verification:
1, Calibration method for thermocouple temperature transmitter:
1. Firstly, we need to prepare a digital voltmeter;
2. Perform verification wiring according to the instructions of the verification equipment;
3. Input the potential values at the ten equal points of the measurement range and check if the temperature output meets the requirements of the accuracy range;
4. According to the sensor and range values indicated on the transmitter nameplate, input the corresponding resistance values to make the output values 1V and 5V, respectively;
5. According to the required values in the equipment manual, the test must be conducted to ensure that it meets the requirements in order to be considered valid and error free.
2, Calibration method for thermistor temperature transmitter:
1. Firstly, we need to prepare a digital voltmeter;
2. The wiring method is to operate and connect the thermocouple integrated temperature transmitter as described above;
3. Input the resistance values according to the range and check that the temperature output values meet the specified requirements;
4. According to the sensor and range scale indicated on the transmitter nameplate, input the corresponding resistance values to make the output 1V and 5V;
5. Test according to the required values in the equipment manual.
