When the 3D printer is on hold

(1) Platform cleaning

Look for a lint-free flannel, add a little bit of rubbing alcohol or some acetone nail polish cleaner on it, and gently wipe it to clean the platform.

(2) Residual material cleaning in the nozzle

First preheat the nozzle to about 220 °C, then slowly pull out the waste wire inside with a tweezers, or remove the nozzle for thorough cleaning.

(3) Other cleaning

Clean up the garbage under the 3D printer chassis, lubricate the oil-deficient parts, and clean the oil on the motor, screw and other components with a clean cloth.

After cleaning up the above points, the machine can be stored for a long time after being covered. In the daily use of the equipment, the development of good maintenance habits can extend its use time.
