When the hydraulic system of the blow molding machine fails, the following emergency treatment methods can be taken:
Hydraulic oil leakage
Emergency measures: Immediately stop the blow molding machine and cut off the power supply to prevent the leaking hydraulic oil from causing fire and other safety accidents. At the same time, quickly find the leak point and use a container to collect the leaked hydraulic oil to avoid oil contamination of the workplace.
Temporary repair: For some leaks caused by loose pipe joints, tools can be used to properly tighten the pipe joints while ensuring safety. If the leak is caused by damaged seals, if there are spare seals on site, you can try to replace the seals. If there are no spare seals, you can use sealants to temporarily seal the leak, but pay attention to the use method and scope of application of the sealant to ensure that it will not cause further damage to the hydraulic system.
Abnormal pressure
Insufficient pressure
Emergency measures: Check the hydraulic oil level. If the level is too low, add the same type of hydraulic oil to the normal level in time. At the same time, check whether the set pressure of the overflow valve is correct. If necessary, the pressure setting value of the overflow valve can be adjusted appropriately, but the adjustment range should not be too large to avoid excessive system pressure.
Temporary repair: If you suspect that there is a problem with the hydraulic pump, try to gently tap the hydraulic pump housing to see if the pump can be restored to normal operation. This may be due to temporary jamming of some parts in the pump, and knocking to reset it. However, this method needs to be operated with caution to avoid damaging the hydraulic pump.
Excessive pressure
Emergency measures: Immediately turn off the power supply of the hydraulic system and stop the system operation to prevent damage to the hydraulic components due to excessive pressure. Then, slowly open the unloading handle of the overflow valve to release the system pressure to a safe range.
Temporary repair: Check whether the pressure regulating valve and pressure sensor are working properly. If the pressure regulating valve is improperly adjusted, you can readjust its set value; if the pressure sensor fails, you can try to reconnect the sensor line or replace the spare sensor to restore the system's normal control of pressure.
Oil temperature is too high
Emergency measures: First stop the blow molding machine and let the hydraulic system run at no load to reduce the heat generated by the system. At the same time, check the cooling system, clean up the blockages in the cooling water pipeline, and ensure that the cooling water circulates normally. If the cooling water pump is damaged, the spare cooling water pump or manual auxiliary cooling equipment should be started immediately, such as using a fan to force air cooling on the radiator to reduce the oil temperature.
Temporary repair: If it is found that the hydraulic oil viscosity is too high or too low, resulting in too high oil temperature, the hydraulic oil of appropriate viscosity can be appropriately added or replaced if conditions permit. However, it should be noted that hydraulic oils of different brands and models cannot be mixed at will to avoid affecting the performance of the oil.
Hydraulic shock
Emergency measures: When hydraulic shock occurs, the relevant hydraulic actions should be stopped immediately to avoid more serious damage caused by the shock. Then, check whether the buffer device in the system is working properly, such as buffer valve, throttle valve, etc. If the buffer device is found to be ineffective, try to manually adjust the opening of the throttle valve to reduce the flow rate change of the oil to alleviate the hydraulic shock.
Temporary repair: For hydraulic shock caused by the excessive movement speed of the actuator, the flow control valve of the hydraulic system can be adjusted to reduce the movement speed of the actuator to make it start and stop more smoothly. At the same time, check whether the back pressure of the hydraulic system is appropriate. Properly increasing the back pressure can also help reduce hydraulic shock.
Oil contamination
Emergency measures: If the oil is found to be seriously contaminated, the blow molding machine should be stopped immediately to prevent the contaminants from causing further damage to the hydraulic system. Then, check the filter of the hydraulic system. If the filter is blocked, replace the spare filter or clean the blocked filter.
Temporary repair: Use filtering equipment to filter the hydraulic oil to remove impurities and moisture in the oil. If there is no professional filtering equipment on site, a simple filtering method can be used, such as using a filter to perform preliminary filtering of the oil. At the same time, check the sealing of the hydraulic system to prevent further intrusion of external contaminants.
